MISSION STATEMENT
The difference that matters
My mission is to drive change, make an impact, and facilitate growth by taking a people-first approach—because in every organization, people are the greatest asset, regardless of what business they’re in.
With a background in product and design and nearly two decades in technology, I bring a people-first mindset to every challenge. No matter the industry or problem, I focus on what technology and AI can’t replicate: being great at being human to create trust, understanding, and alignment.
Human Glue
What Sets Me Apart
Most organizations already have experts that are passionate about their work.
Yet they don't know how to work together.
Things take too long. Wrong decisions are made. Costs are high. People are frustrated. Customers are not happy.
You don't need another domain expert. You don't need more expert opinion.
You need someone who can bring these experts together so they work with each other rather than against each other.
No matter what the industry or domain, I am the glue that assembles all the pieces together: people, pieces, ideas, concepts, goals, challenges, solutions.
Create a common understanding. Turn abstract ideas into concrete concepts everyone can act on. Facilitate the path forward. Cultivate trust and a collaborative environment.

Systems Thinking
A system is more than the sum of its parts; it is an indivisible whole. It loses its essential properties when it is taken apart. The elements of a system may themselves be systems, and every system may be part of a larger system.
~Russell Ackoff

Some people live 90 years. Some people live one year 90 times.
Create value and long lasting impact
Turn chaos into structure, fuzzy ideas into concrete concepts.
Methodical problem solving approaches
Bring people together to work towards common goals

“We thrive in environments that respect us and allow us to (1) feel included, (2) feel safe to learn, (3) feel safe to contribute, and (4) feel safe to challenge the status quo. If we can’t do these things, if it’s emotionally expensive, fear shuts us down. We’re not happy and we’re not reaching our potential. But when the environment nurtures psychological safety, there’s an explosion of confidence, engagement, and performance." – Tim R. Clark
Fixing air sandwiches
I use the Air Sandwich approach to bridge the gap between vision and execution.
An Air Sandwich happens when vision and strategy is created from 80,000 feet without visibility into what's happening on the ground.
I help organizations craft a vision informed by what's happening on the ground. I then help them translate that vision into a meaty strategy for all the layers in the organization.
The goal of creating all these meaty layers is to create alignment and bridge the gap between the abstract nature of business and humans, and the concrete nature of real solutions.
For each layer of the organization, I help organizations define each team's objectives to ensure they are aligned with the vision, establish frameworks, workflows, and processes, design the human journeys and experiences, and define the measurable and trackable actions.

Real, long lasting impact.
I don’t just do the work then leave like what most consultants do. Solving problems and building solutions are the easy part. Getting people to work together, that’s the hard part.
My goal is to shift mindsets and change how people think, work, and work with each other.
If I just do the work on my own, then nothing changes in your organization after I leave. But if I show teams different ways of thinking, collaborating, and problem solving, then the impact will last long after I leave.

EARLY LIFE
I was a ballet dancer and teacher, a stage and TV performer in early live. Then I decided to go to college, Googled “college major to get a job the quickest” and came up with Computer Science. I never had an interest in or exposure to technology prior but got an undergrad degree in Computer Science and aced all my programming and math courses.

EARLY CAREER
My first few years out of college I was an analyst. Honestly, I would have taken any job out of college. Grateful for how it all worked out .
I learned about SDLC, working with stakeholders and a team, and the Agile framework. I was immediately known for my exceptional analytical abilities.
I learned about product management and UX, and discovered my interest in working with people. It led me to pursuing product management and design in my next role.

EARLY CAREER
I then spent a few years as an in-house product manager, learning about managing stakeholders, building relationships and trust, and consensus. I discovered that my extrovert nature combined with my analytical skills made me a bridge between the abstract nature humans (users and business) and the concrete nature of technology.

MID CAREER
I shifted to consulting because knew I loved solving problems and working with people and I wasn’t sure if I was keen on any industry in particular, so I thought consulting would expose me to variety.
Working with a variety of problems, industries, client types and sizes, I learned that some things were always the same for me: my ability to draw everything to simplify anything complex into simple concepts and bring people together to work towards common goals. And to always be solving problems and creating value.

MID CAREER
I learned that I often rubbed people the wrong way despite my brilliance. I read the book What Got You Here Won’t Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith and learned self awareness. It changed my life.
I realized being brilliant wasn't enough to grow my impact.
I discovered my passion then: helping people succeed, grow, and create value was more important to me than the work itself.

RECENT YEARS
I was hoping that consulting would give me clarity whether I’d want to focus on product or design, or a specific industry. But what I learned instead was that I didn’t need to put myself in a box.
My greatest strength is my ability to identify patterns real quick and turn chaos into structure. I bring people together, design systems and experiences, and create a well oiled machine. I am the human glue that puts all the pieces together.
Whether it’s strategizing, creating a vision, roadmapping, designing, or executing, I can do it all. And I do them all very well.

RECENT YEARS
Today I no longer put a label on myself but rather I describe myself using the values I create.
Don’t get my wrong, I still enjoy problem solving and creating solutions. I am very tactile and I love love love creating things and solving problems. But what gives me the most fulfillment is knowing that once I leave an organization I have created a shift in mindset, changed the way people think, work, and work with each other.

TODAY
“The first half of life is about becoming who you need to be to survive. The second half is about unraveling everything that no longer aligns with your soul’s purpose. That’s not a midlife crisis. It’s a rebirth.”
~ Ella Hicks
I am opening myself up to the world, listening to the forces that are calling me, inviting others to collaborate, create, inspire, grow, and lift each other up.
If I have inspired you today, let’s connect!

FUN FACTS
In case it wasn't obvious, I love to travel. I see it as another way to make connections. The world is wide, we are all so far apart. I love exploring places and meeting new people, feeling like we are all connected.

CIRCUS
I spend a lot of time training at the circus, mainly flying trapeze.
I love extreme sports because they are 90% mental. They help me understand what humans need to thrive, such as how leaders can create an environment where their teams can feel safe to be their best authentic self.

SWIMMING
I am a swimmer and train regularly with a Masters team.
I go on open water swim holidays, mainly in the Mediterranean where we explore the beautiful waters and cross islands.
This particular photo was of a submarine tunnel in Montenegro.

FREEDIVING
Extreme sports such as freediving or flying trapeze, where the stakes are high, teach us what we need as an individual to thrive. There is no room to hesitate. If you don't understand yourself well and what you need to perform your best, it's not going to happen.
My fascination with psychological safety and what humans need to thrive fuels my passion for helping leaders thrive and create an environment that allows their teams to thrive.

MY DOG BRIO
He actually identifies as a cat. A true introvert, to balance my extrovert energy.
